To come to Russia for ComPhysChem’20 and/or Summer International School "Modern Ouantum Chemistry Methods in Applications" all foreign participants (exept participants from countries) should obtain a student or a humanitarian visa (the visa type will be determined after your application form is submitted).  It is not possible to obtain a visa at an airport, when entering Russia. The Organizing Committee will provide the participants with visa support.

Samara State National University will prepare visa invitations necessary for your visa application. To get the invitation, please register for the conference (or fill the application form for the school and send it to the organization committee)  and send the following documents to Anna Ghildina(e-mail: This email address is being protected from spambots.   •            filled out visa application form;

  •      scanned copy of your passport (first two pages – one with your photo and the next one). Your passport validity has to be at least 1.5 years from the departure from Russia (for student visa) or at least 6 months from the departure from Russia (for humanitarian visa);

  •          if you reside outside a country of your citizenship, please, send us a scanned copy of residence or work permit valid for the country of your current residence.

ATTENTION! Tourist visa is not valid for participation in the conference!

Please do not forget to fill out the similar visa application form and send it with the passport copies for all persons accompanying you to the conference as well as a scanned copy of your marriage certificate, confirming the degree of relationship between you and an accompanying person.

Please note that normally it takes 20 business days for a visa invitation processing. Please, plan your travel to Russia considering this period. The invitation letter will be sent to your e-mail address. Electronic invitation is valid to apply for Russian visa. You should print it and enclose to other visa application documents at the Russian Embassy/Consulate or through an Authorized Agent in your country or in the country of your current residence.

Please note that visa application requirements might vary from country to country and might add two extra weeks to process your visa.

Please note. A border patrol officer at an airport of entry might ask a visa holder to present a copy of an invitation letter along with your passport and visa. Please bring printed copy with you.
